0f family, Rivers, and memories

Hello and welcome — we’d love to share a bit of our story with you.

Our journey began in the late 1960s, when my father, Noah Hague, first fell in love with running rivers. He often said the magic of rafting was in “seeing what’s around the next bend.” That sense of wonder sparked what would become a lifelong family passion.

In 1974, Dad founded Noah’s World of Water, launching what would grow into one of Oregon’s most respected Rogue River rafting companies. By 1984, he had moved the business to Ashland, Oregon, building it into the largest outfitting company in the region.

After more than three decades on the water, Noah retired in 2006 and split the company in two — giving each branch of the family the opportunity to carry the legacy forward. Bart & Catie Baldwin and Justin Wright took over the Ashland-based side of the business, continuing to run successful half- and one-day rafting trips across several rivers. That same year, my wife Alicia and I purchased the Rogue River Wilderness side of the business — and we’ve been guiding guests through this incredible canyon ever since. We raised our children on the river, just as my parents raised me, and the memories we’ve made here are woven into every rapid, every campsite, and every story we share with our guests.

The photos represent five decades of family and adventure — photos from my own childhood, through our kids’ years growing up in the canyon, and into adulthood. These moments are a reminder that rafting the Wild and Scenic Rogue River isn’t just about the water — it’s about connection, legacy, and shared experience.

Thank you for taking the time to get to know our story. We’d be honored to help you create your own memories on the Rogue River.
