Your days on the river are filled with Class III whitewater rafting, kayaking, swimming, and exploring Oregon’s most historic canyon. Along the way, our knowledgeable guides share fascinating stories from over 150 years of Rogue River lore, including tales of miners, settlers, and the Native American wars that shaped this region.
These trips make unforgettable family rafting vacations, ideal for everyone from grandparents to kids as young as six. We like to say, “You won’t find Wi-Fi in this canyon — but you’ll truly connect.”
Looking for something extra special? Choose our 4-Day Lodge Adventure, departing Fridays. Spend your first night riverside camping, followed by two relaxing days at Paradise Lodge, a remote wilderness retreat accessible only by river or trail. Enjoy hiking, swimming, fishing, and pure serenity — far from crowds and closer to nature.
Food just tastes better in the wilderness — especially after a day on the Wild and Scenic Rogue River.
Each evening begins with delicious appetizers like home-smoked Rogue River salmon, locally sourced gourmet cheeses, and guest favorites such as smoked oysters, salami, and jalapeño jelly with cream cheese.
Dinner might feature grilled salmon, steak, pork loin, or marinated chicken, all served with fresh sides and hearty portions. We also offer vegetarian and gluten-free options including stuffed portabella mushrooms, tofu kabobs, and other creative dishes prepared with care.
Before your trip, we’ll send a quick guest questionnaire so we can tailor meals to your dietary preferences and needs — no one goes hungry on the river!
If you’re joining one of our lodge-based Rogue River rafting trips, the welcoming staff at Black Bar Lodge and Paradise Lodge will prepare unforgettable home-cooked meals while you relax and enjoy the comfort of their beautiful wilderness properties.
